So you now have your show schedule and you have your work all ready to go. Next you need a marketing plan to get the message out and find people who love your work as much as you do….and have the cash to pay for it! Easy to say but not always so easy to do. Join Kate Taylor on March 21 as she provides some key marketing ideas that are easy and cost effective to implement, helping you build your unique brand in your art practice.

This seminar will cover the 4 Ps of marketing:

•       Product – your work

•       Price – what is your pricing strategy? How sensitive is your pricing to change?

•       Place – where will you sell your work and how does that fit in your marketing strategy?

•       Promotion – website, business cards, social media….how do you let your audience know where to find your work?

This marketing seminar will be hosted by Kate Taylor; an abstract painter in Toronto with over 25 years of marketing experience – both in the corporate world of finance and technology and with her ad agency, Kaleidoscope Marketing, for that past 15 years. 8 years ago, Kate participated in the Riverdale Art Walk – her first art show. She has put her considerable marketing expertise to work since then and is now represented by galleries in Toronto, Montreal and Boston and has participated in art fairs in Canada, the US and Spain. Kate holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Western University where she was taught painting by the internationally-renowned artist, Paterson Ewen. She is passionate about helping artists build their business practice, leveraging marketing skills to build awareness and success.
