The Artists’ Network presents the 13th Annual Riverdale Art Walk on June 4th and 5th, 2011. The Riverdale Art Walk is a 2-day juried fine art show, with artists showing in galleries, retail spaces, artist studios and outdoors in Jimmie Simpson Park. This year the 120+ artists will be exhibiting alongside the Riverside District BIA's free Sounds Like the Riverside In The RAW music festival. The main areas will be along Queen Street East, starting at the DVP, heading east to Jimmie Simpson Park and beyond.
Programming for the event is extensive with guided tours and self-guided walks published in our catalogue distributed in NOW Magazine’s Hot Summer Issue. As part of the special programming, the group show Lucky | Unlucky 13 explores the superstitions and urban legends surrounding the number 13.
Opening reception for the Riverdale Art Walk and the exhibition Lucky | Unlucky 13 will be on June 2nd at Hang Man Gallery (The gallery of the Artists’ Network). Artists, media, dignitaries and the public are welcome to celebrate our 13th anniversary.
