Artists statement: 

Examining nature and my environment, capturing the beauty and excitement of what surrounds me and imagining how my world looks and feels to me whether in actuallity or traveling to other dimensions drives my creative nature.

 

Realism influenced by impressionism is the ultimate goal of my work. Light and colour are the two predominants that I bring to my paintings. The work ranges from portraiture to still life with the focus on landscapes and particularly with the details within the environment. 

 

Travelling is a passion and capturing the light and atmosphere from different regions and countries is a challenge I like to work with.

 

I hope never to be coralled into just one look, style or technique. Exploring all areas of painting and imagery is a dream that fascinates me and there are so many interesting images in the world that I hate to be contained.
