Art Critique

Location: Hybrid (In-Person & Zoom)

In-person: Leslie Grove Gallery, 1158 Queen St E, Toronto. (See T&Cs for art critique)
Zoom: You won’t get feedback on your artwork, but you can totally watch the event live and even ask Stephanie Schirm questions during the Q&A. Cool, right?

Fee: $25 for non-members, FREE to members

Stephanie Schirm (www.stephanieschirm.com) works in a variety of mediums and has been teaching successfully for many years around Ontario.

As a graduate of OCADU in Communication and Design, she is a perfect candidate to critique others’ work. Her own artwork is very colourful and expressive.

Each artist who brings in a painting will receive feedback that is constructive, insightful and kind. Stephanie is capable of critiquing any style, from realism, to abstract, to non-objective. Artists may bring in works that they think are finished or works in progress.

When the artists leave, they will have an idea of where to go next…to continue working on the painting, or declare that it is finished.

Art Critique Terms & Conditions
If you’re one of the first 10 people to sign up to In-Person, you’ll get the chance to bring your artwork to the gallery for critique.

Our in-person events can fit a lot of people, so you can watch the critiques, ask questions and network with other members attending. But, only 10 pieces of art will be critiqued, so make sure to register early!

If you decide to have your art critiqued, it will be live streamed on Zoom and shared on our website later in our ‘members only’ library. Don’t worry, you can stay anonymous if you prefer. We’ll talk about all the details with each person who signs up for a critique.
