Writing for Artists – Part II

Time: 6:30pm – 8:00pm

Location: In-Person at the Leslie Grove Gallery (1158 Queen St. East, Toronto)

Fee: $25 for non-members, FREE to members

Find both the focus and peer support you may need to start crafting an authentic and legible artist statement through an evening of group writing and discussion. This “clinic” session will give participants the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned from session 1, with a longer portion of the session dedicated to writing a first draft. Participants will be asked to read their statements aloud in the last portion of the session to receive feedback and group discussion that can lead to greater clarity and a wider range of perspectives to inform your final revisions.

To allow for more in-depth discussion and feedback the in-person clinic session is limited to a maximum of 15 participants.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a 2 Part Series. Artists do not need to attend the first to get value from the second but it is recommended to do both.
